SUPPORTING THE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH
THE ENHANCEMENT OF OUR CITY PARKS

WHO WE ARE

The Park Foundation of Waukesha, Inc. was established in 2008 for the purpose of helping to preserve and enrich the quality of life in Waukesha through the enhancement of city parks, trails, recreation programs and urban forest. This Foundation has an established fund within the Waukesha County Community Foundation. In 2009, The Park Foundation of Waukesha, Inc. was presented the opportunity to manage and operate the Trailbreaker Marathon event. This event is a regionally recognized running event, offering a United States Association of Track and Field certification for the marathon course, an alternate marathon course, the half-marathon course, 10K, and 5K course. Proceeds from this race and general contributions in the last nine years have resulted in over $200,000 being invested back into the community to help Waukesha become a better place to live, work, and play.
Board Members
The Park Foundation of Waukesha, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the City of Waukesha Park, Recreation, and Forestry Department in special projects to support the Waukesha community.
