A bag drop will be located at the fourth aid station (behind 18 West Sports Grille). Bags should be labeled with name and race number and must be left at bag drop table in Schuetze Recreation Center by 7:30 am. Bags should be picked up following the race at the registration table.
The 2016 Trailbreaker Marathon will be run using the traditional Ice Age Trail segment of the route. Due to recent, significant rainfall, runners will likely encounter slippery, muddy areas along this rugged trail segment. Please be alert to changing trail conditions.
PLEASE NOTE: Predicted heavy rainfall on Thursday and Friday could result in Race Directors opting to run the certified alternative marathon route. This will be posted at the registration table and announced prior to the race. The alternate route is also a USATF Certified marathon.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Race day registration is available on race day, but come early so you don't miss the start of the race. Approximate starting times are:
8:00 am - Marathon
9:30 am - Half Marathon
10:00 am - 5K
PACKET PICK UP
For the convenience of our runners, early materials pickup will be available for those who register prior to 11:59 PM on Wednesday, March 30th. Pickup will be from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday, April 1st, 2016 at Endurance House of Delafield, 2736 Hillside Drive, Delafield, WI 53018.
For all others Packet Pick Up will be held on race day - beginning at 6:30 am

Runners will receive event shirts, timing chips and race packets.
*Technical shirts for early registrants only. After 3/13/16 registrants will receive a Trailbreaker thermal mug instead of a shirt. No exceptions.
PARKING
Free parking is available to runners and spectators in adjacent parking lots and on street parking. Parking is available on a first come first served basis.

RACES BEGIN
The Marathon and Half Marathon begin in front of the Schuetze Recreation Center and finish behind this same building. Please see the course map for more information. Early starts are not allowed for slow runners, but end times are somewhat flexible for those that may require more time.
The 5K starts at the parking lot located adjacent to the Frame Park baseball field located north of the Schuetze Recreation Center. This race will end at the Schuetze Recreation Center, 1120 Baxter Street, Waukesha, WI 53186 after the two laps on the Riverwalk have been completed.
Please note that the winner's of each race will be announced in the Schuetze Recreation Center gymnasium following the race as the race results are being processed.
MUSIC
Ipods and MP3 players are allowed during the race.
STROLLERS
Strollers are permitted in this event. However, runners are encouraged to start at the back of the line to prevent congestion and possible injury to other runners.
AID STATIONS
Aid stations will have water, gatorade, orange slices and needed first aid supplies. Marathon Aid Station #4 will have bananas available. For Full Marathon runners a bag drop will be located at Aid Station #4 (behind Saxe’s Restaurant). Bags should be labeled with name and race number and must be left at bag drop table in Schuetze Recreation Center by 7:30 am. Bags should be picked up following the race at the registration table.
VIEWING AREAS
For those wishing to view and encourage runners along the course there are several locations that offer this opportunity. Locations include: (Full/Half) Parking area adjacent to the E.B. Shurts Environmental Education Center, Aid Station 1 at MacArthur Road, north side of Sunset Park in the Town of Genesee at S30 W28452 Sunset Drive, (Full Only) the restroom area near Mama D's Cafe in the Village of Wales on the Glacial Drumlin Trail, Aid Station 4 at Saxes on USH 18 and Mickle Road, Aid Station 5 at Lapham Peak State Park.
